About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Advisory Intermediate to join our team, this is an exceptional opportunity for you to develop further professional skills while working closely with your partner and team. Good communication skills with our Asian and local clientele, will help support your application.

You will be responsible for providing high quality service to our clients ranging from small businesses to large multinationals including overseas exposure. Your role will be diverse including compliance and advisory services. We will help you develop further skills and guide you to assist with leading client meetings for SMEs. We will continue to build on your experience as you develop further, including mentoring junior team members.

What you'll be doing

Prepare financial statements and tax return for clients (companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals)

Prepare and review complex tax returns for mainly SMEs and/or HNWIs

Demonstrate an understanding of how companies, trusts, and partnerships interact and operate together

Ensure accuracy and integrity of the data, with all deadlines met

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

Support junior staff members with their work papers

Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide a seamless client experience

Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Business/Commerce majoring in accounting

2-3 years’ experience in public practice

Experience in preparation of financial statement and income tax returns

Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Korean (preferred), to support many of our clients

Modules completed towards CA or CPA qualification

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

A proactive and client-focused attitude
