Are you a compassionate and experienced Family Violence Practitioner looking for flexible locum work in Melbourne? We are seeking dedicated professionals with a minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience to join our team on a short-term contract basis to support individuals and families affected by family violence.

Locum contract lengths vary.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide risk assessments, safety planning, and case management to clients experiencing family violence

Deliver trauma-informed support and advocacy

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure client safety and well-being

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organisational and legal requirements

Essential Criteria:

Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, counselling, or related fields

Minimum of 1 to 2 years' demonstrated experience working with family violence clients

Knowledge of family violence legislation and frameworks in Victoria

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience working in community services or health settings

Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
