About the role

The Yarram Country Club Inc' is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. As Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. This full-time position is based in Yarram, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a wide variety of high-quality dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
• Ensuring consistent presentation and flavour profiles across all menu items
• Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Assisting the Head Chef with menu planning, inventory management and team supervision
• Providing training and guidance to junior kitchen staff
• Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless customer service

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Exceptional skills in food preparation, presentation and creativity
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Passion for using seasonal, local produce to create delicious, innovative dishes
• Flexible and adaptable approach to shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
