Opportunity to grow within the business

Our client has a new opportunity to join their Sydney Broking team within their Marine division. This is a national firm that is well know across Australia, they look after their staff, it's a great working environment and they treat their team with respect and reward hard work and loyalty

This opportunity is to look after a medium sized portfolio of Commercial and Private Marine business. They do have a facility in place to take care of some of the heavy lifting but there will still be a lot of open market placement in this role

Some of the duties and responsibilities will be;

Managing a portfolio of Marine clients

Working on renewals and remarketing policies

Liaising with clients and Underwriters

Negotiating

Liaising with the internal Claims team on any claims

Growing the portfolio

Attending industry events

All other Broking duties as required

We are looking for a Marine Broking specialist, ideally someone with experience working within a Marine Broking role, Tier 1 compliance in General Insurance Broking, good technical skills and a positive attitude
