The Role:

Part Time / Casual 3-4 Days per week

We are looking for Early Childhood / Primary Teacher to join our Monkey Minds team, specifically for our:

Early Years Program (3-4 year old)

School Readiness Program (4-5 year old)

Early Childhood Intervention / Tutoring

Your role will include:

Teaching our Pre-Kinder and School Readiness classes at our premises in Dromana

Provide Early Intervention / Tutoring tailored to meet chilren's developmental goals

9am to 4pm (Hours may be negotiated for the right person)

Support parents of a 3 to 10-year-old child to guide what best suits their child’s needs

Assess and communicate the child’s development and ongoing progress

Ensure that supports are clearly documented, coordinated, and communicated to families and internal and external stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will:

Ability and experence with the early school years to take the lead role in Pre Kinder and School Readiness Programs

Proven and documented experience working with children with Developmental, Speech Delay and Behavioural Challenges

Understanding of child development and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Work with our team to implement a high-quality educational program for the Pre-Kinder and School Readiness program in line with EYLF

Ability to assess, record and maintain observations of children’s progress and development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with colleagues, families and children

Understanding of NDIS funding is advantageous but not necessary

Minimum qualification you will have:

A Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education / Primary Teaching
