- The Social Worker level 3 position will be a valued member of the Wodonga Community Palliative Care team. The exciting position will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to provide comprehensive social work services to palliative care clients in the community setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. Palliative care social workers are responsible for implementing timely and equitable psychosocial support for palliative clients and their families, as well as enhancing bereavement supports to people at risk of experiencing complex grief. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
Mandatory: Batchelor of Social work and eligible for full membership of the AASW with a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience
Mandatory: Current Drivers Licence
Mandatory: Current Police Check (within 3 years) and Working With Children's Check (within 5 years)
Desirable: Experience working in a palliative care setting or with grief bereavement support
Employment Type: This is a 0.6FTE (24 hours per week) permanent part time opportunity.
