About the role

We're looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at 'Ryder Transport & Logistics Pty Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating our fleet of trucks to safely transport goods and equipment for our customers within Gold Coast and Australia. The role will require Local and Interstate Travel and is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a variety of truck sizes to transport household and commercial goods

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are in proper working condition

Load and unload goods and equipment at customer locations using specialised equipment

Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including inventory and mileage

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the moving process

Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety procedures

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Rigid (HC) or (HR) driver's licence with a proven safe driving record

At least 2 years' experience as a professional Truck Driver, preferably in the removals or transport industry

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with load securement and safe lifting practices

A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
