Crane Truck Driver - HC

Join our dynamic team as a full-time HC Crane Truck Driver. Based in beautiful Currumbin Waters, QLD, this crucial role will see you operating a crane semi to deliver reinforcing steel for our valued client throughout SEQ and Northern NSW.

Key responsibilities

Operate a heavy combination (HC) crane truck safely and efficiently to transport reinforcing steel and related products

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition

Ensure you load is secured and safe for travel

Unload the trailer using the truck mounted crane, ensuring all goods are secured properly by the lifting chains

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and completing deliveries on time

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries, vehicle maintenance and NHVR legislation

Adhere to all relevant road and safety regulations

What we're looking for

A current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with a proven track record of safe driving

A current Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) license or higher with relevant and recent experience

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations on the road

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow policies and procedures

The ability to work independently and as part of a team
