Test Lead – UKG Projects (12-Month FTC + Extensions)
Location: North Ryde, Sydney (Hybrid)

Are you a hands-on Test Lead with a passion for quality and a track record of success in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) implementations, migrations, or upgrades? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced professional to lead testing efforts on a high-impact program based in North Ryde, Sydney.
About the Role:
As the Test Lead, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end testing activities across a major UKG project. You’ll work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and vendors to ensure a smooth and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing strategy, planning, and execution for UKG implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Coordinate and manage test cycles including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and resolve issues.
• Ensure traceability of requirements through to test outcomes.
• Provide hands-on testing support and defect management.
• Report on test progress, quality metrics, and readiness.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Test Lead on UKG projects (Workforce Central, Dimensions, or other UKG platforms).
• Strong hands-on testing skills – you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience in enterprise HRIS or workforce management systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Work on a high-visibility project with real business impact.
• Hybrid working model with flexibility.
