An exciting opportunity has opened for a Safety Manager to join a well-established and highly respected organisation in the food and manufacturing sector, based in Geelong. This role offers flexible working hours across a standard 38-hour week, a competitive salary up to $130,000, and the chance to work within a collaborative environment that values strong safety leadership. To be considered for this position you MUST have experience within Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage WHS strategy, policies, and systems across operations
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards
• Conduct risk assessments, investigations, audits, and safety reviews
• Engage and influence senior leadership and frontline teams to drive a proactive safety culture
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement sustainable safety initiatives

About You:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a dedicated Work Health and Safety role
• MUST have experience in Engineering
• Proven background in a senior safety leadership position within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management, and systems auditing
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and lead across all levels
• Available to commence immediately or at short notice
