Role description: Maths Teacher/Tutor Yrs 7, 8, 9 and 10

The applicant needs experience in and a commitment to teaching students in Years 7-10

Knowledge and familiarity with the current Australian Maths Curriculum

Sessions are held after school Monday to Thursday afternoons: sessions are 1 hour: 2 sessions per night: 3:45 - 4:45 and 4:50 - 5:50 pm

Person description:

The applicant needs to be:

experienced and committed in teaching students and have an understanding of the teaching methods required to cater for each student's individual learning needs

empathic and respectful to each student

able to show initiative and flexibility

able to work co-operatively with Principal, teachers and students

able to organise and prepare a programme for each individual student on a weekly basis

Qualification description:

summary of teaching experience e.g.: number of years teaching, year levels taught

Supply evidence of:

a) Teaching degree

b) Working with Children Check (WWCC)
