The Opportunity
Due to the continued growth of our project portfolio, we are seeking a skilled Engineering Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and applying engineering technologies across a range of renewable energy projects. Key Responsibilities

· Develop and apply engineering methods and technologies to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

· Support planning, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance activities on-site.

· Conduct inspections, troubleshoot faults, and diagnose issues in electrical and mechanical systems.

· Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate new technologies and system improvements.

· Maintain maintenance schedules, defect tracking systems, and technical documentation.

· Perform testing, performance analysis, and validation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data and recommending design or maintenance enhancements.

· Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

About You

· Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.

· Minimum of five years’ experience as an engineering technologist in the renewable energy sector.

· Demonstrated expertise in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to technical detail.

· Effective communicator with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

· Willingness to work on-site as well as in the office as required.
