About the role

As a Motor Mechanic at Fox Lane Motors', you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This full-time position is based in Niddrie, VIC 3042, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including engine diagnostics, brake system checks, and wheel alignments

Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues

Conducting vehicle inspections and providing comprehensive recommendations to customers

Ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to safety and quality standards

Collaborating with the wider team to provide exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive workshop environment

Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models

Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and provide clear explanations of issues and recommended solutions

A commitment to workplace safety and a willingness to stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
