About the role

We are seeking a capable and experienced Manager 2IC and Barista to join our busy cafe in East Gosford, NSW. In this casual role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our popular establishment, while also showcasing your exceptional barista skills to deliver exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Cafe Manager in overseeing all aspects of cafe operations, including staff management, inventory control, and ensuring high standards of food and beverage preparation

Demonstrate excellent barista skills to craft high-quality coffee beverages that delight our customers

Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patron

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Foster a positive team environment, mentoring and supporting junior staff members

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Hospitality & Tourism management or barista role

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and excellent barista skills

Proven experience in leading and motivating a team, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff and customer

Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences
