About the role
Toast Eden is hiring a Barista to lead our coffee program and be the face of our specialty café in Eden. Working alongside an experienced, values-driven team, you’ll take charge of coffee quality, beverage operations, training and mentoring, and fostering a warm, consistent customer experience. As our permanent Barista, you’ll be supported by the Cafe Manager and General Manager as well as a trained team of All Rounder/Baristas, with opportunities to grow in a business known for connection, consistency, and community.

What you’ll do

Maintain the highest standards of coffee quality and workflow

Manage dial-ins, rotations, and ONA Coffee’s seasonal offerings

Lead by example, inspiring a positive, calm and efficient culture

Provide guidance and training to other baristas

Collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement

Keep a sharp eye on the customer experience — you’re their first hello!

What you’ll bring

1+ year consistent experience as a barista in a fast-paced café

Deep knowledge of specialty coffee, extraction and volumetrics

Calm, clear communicator with leadership potential or experience

Enthusiastic about learning, growing, and being part of a team

Must have full working rights in Australia – no sponsorship available
