The Role?

We're seeking a passionate and skilled Accountant to join our long-standing brilliant team. Your level of experience can vary, for we can adapt the role to fit your skillset and experience. So, whether you’re in your final year of uni or have up to 3 years’ experience, we have a place for you here. We’re able to accommodate flexibility of hours in this role, ranging from 0.8FTE up to full time, although we can be more flexible if you’re busy with studies still.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and lodge financial statements and tax returns.

Maintain immaculate workpapers with consistent naming conventions.

Stay current with tax legislation.

Document underlying procedures (including utilising AI and Loom)

Depending on your experience, you may be expected to conduct research and prepare written advice for clients to help them make informed business decisions.

Collaborating with the broader team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve organisational objectives

What we're looking for

Anywhere from 0 (ie. at uni or just finished) up to 3 years experience with preparing tax returns and financials for SME’s in Australia.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical thinking skills.

High level of integrity and commitment to doing the right thing.

Strong work ethic

Super organized with an eagle eye for detail.

Genuine team player with a willingness to do what it takes to get jobs done.

Eager to learn and able to adapt to new challenges.

Ability to build and maintain client relationships with exceptional service.
