About the Role

We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated HVAC Chiller Field Technician to join a specialist contractor.

This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning of commercial and industrial chilled water systems.

You’ll work across a wide range of leading brands including York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Smardt, Climaveneta, and Multistack.

What You'll Be Doing

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing chilled water systems (centrifugal, screw, and scroll)
• Performing diagnostics, full overhauls and commissioning works
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and specifications
• Quoting repairs and proposing equipment upgrades
• Participating in a rotating on-call breakdown roster
• Mentoring apprentices and junior techs during field work
• Completing service reports and documentation via AroFlo or similar platforms
• Maintaining high safety and compliance standards
• Building strong relationships with clients through reliable, professional service

What We're Looking For

• Trade-qualified HVAC technician with a strong background in chilled water systems
• Confident working on 3-phase and low-voltage electrical control systems
• Skilled in diagnostics, pressure/vacuum testing, brazing, and commissioning
• Ability to work independently across multiple job sites
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

Must-Have Qualifications

• Full Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current Driver’s Licence
