Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Kangaringa Station is offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a Maintenance Technician based in Shaugh, SA. This hands-on role is an essential support to the Maintenance Manager and will work in conjunction with them to ensure the smooth running of our operations, focusing on the upkeep and repair of farm infrastructure and equipment. With an emphasis on preventative maintenance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and reliable.

What You’ll Do

Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.

Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent operational downtime

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities

Support seasonal operations by ensuring equipment readiness and reliability

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in machinery or facility maintenance (agricultural experience preferred, does not need to be trade qualified)

Strong practical knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think under pressure

Ability to interpret manuals and technical diagrams

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and contractors
