About the role
As Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll manage the delivery of safe, compliant, and customer-focused building maintenance services across Yarra Ranges Council facilities. You’ll manage contract partners and support team members to ensure efficient service delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with community needs. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, performance monitoring, and proactive problem-solving, you’ll help drive high-quality outcomes and foster trust through delivering high-quality service outcomes.
This is a full-time permanent position (38 hours per week).
This is a Band 6 role with a salary range between $93,007 and $102,911 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in delivering customer-focused facilities and building maintenance services.
Ability to manage contractor relationships and team coordination to ensure efficient service delivery.
Strong customer service orientation, with clear communication and responsiveness to community and stakeholder needs.
Skills in monitoring performance, analysing data, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance outcomes.
Capacity to manage competing priorities calmly and professionally and adapt to change.
A collaborative mindset, contributing to team goals and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
