Are you a dedicated and passionate dietitian wanting to help the Gympie community?
The Allied Health Team wants to meet you!
We are looking for a dietitian with a strong dietetics education and programming skillset who wants to work in and contribute to our multidisciplinary team.
About the position:
This role would suit someone who is either:
Wanting a part-time (2-3 days/week) role in Gympie, or
Looking to grow into a full-time role. Options here could include full-time from our Gympie clinic, or full-time across Gympie and the Sunshine Coast.

Case conferencing / team meetings - in person and via video call, daily.
If you live on the Sunshine Coast, we have a company van to vanpool to Gympie in each day. The 45minute travel time each way is allocated to your weekly paid hours and is a great additional time to discuss clients and debrief from the day in an informal setting
We work with a mix of clientele, across multiple funding types (My Aged Care, NDIS, DVA, Medicare, Private Health)
About the role:
Assess and reassess client's diet as needed
Develop nutritional programs and provide education for a diverse range of clientele based on their goals and health history
Liaise with your allied health teammates (currently exercise physiologists and dietitians) to create inter-professional treatment plans
Deliver these treatment plans
Accurately and promptly record your treatment notes and complete reports in a timely fashion.
Contribute to and improve the team's performance through your unique skillset
Build long-lasting and strong relationships in the community.

About the clients:
Majority are over the age of 40
A mix of neurological conditions, chronic disease, disability, and mental health conditions
Funded through NDIS, DVA, Medicare, My Aged Care, health insurance, and privately.
This role will be best suited to a dietitian who has experience in at least two of these areas.

We have our own stand alone clinic which is ~300sqm with multiple private treatment rooms.

Part-time position available with the option to progress into full-time if desired.

Qualifications required:
AHPRA registration
Dietitians Australia Accreditation
Online PRODA account with the ability to create provider numbers
NDIS Yellow Card
NDIS Worker’s Module completed
NDIS Effective Communication Course completed
Blue Card
First Aid
CPR
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance - $20M each
Police Check.
