The Role: You will be responsible for performing maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on a variety of motor vehicle hoists with key responsibilities:

• Fault finding and breakdown maintenance of motor vehicle hoists.

• Scheduled servicing and inspections as per Australian Standards.

• Customer-facing interactions to provide advice and service updates.

• Maintain accurate records of all work completed and communicate any recommendations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, offering expert advice and guidance on hoist maintenance and repairs.

• Work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

You will also be responsible for the professional installation and relocation of a range of hoists (including 2-post, 4-post, and scissor lift models) at customer sites with key responsibilities:

• Install hoists in compliance with manufacturer specifications and Australian Standards.

• Installation of hoists at customer locations, including 4-post, 2-post, and scissor lifts.

• Relocation and dismantling of hoists as needed.

• Customer interaction to explain hoist operations and safety procedures and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maintain detailed records of all installations and services.

• Travel within Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and wider South East Queensland, utilizing a fully-equipped service or installation vehicle.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: While previous experience in hoist servicing or installation is a plus, we are open to training the right candidate with a solid mechanical background (e.g., automotive, machinery, or similar).

• Skills & Attributes:

o Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

o Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and manuals.

o Excellent customer communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude.

o Strong commitment to safety and quality. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Requirements:

o A valid driver’s license.

o Confidence in using an electronic scheduling system (training will be provided).

o A positive, proactive approach to your work and customer service.
