We are an Ophthalmology practice looking for an experienced, reliable, motivated, and patient-focused medical receptionist to join our dynamic and friendly team. This is a full-time role in our Blacktown office. We are close to public transport and staff parking is also available.

Work Type:

This is a Full Time position with rostered half day off, every fortnight. Hours of work could vary between 8.00 am-5.00 pm.

About the role:

You will be a key member of the team, creating a welcoming environment for our patients and supporting the team with high-quality administrative support.

Work alongside an established admin and clinical team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner

Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries

General administration and office duties

Management of patient invoicing and receipting

Booking and Managing appointments

Strong organisational skills, attention to details and a fast learner

Punctual, reliable and honest

Exceptional customer service, positive can-do attitude, eager to learn

Team player but also able to work autonomously

The successful candidate will have:

Past experience as a medical receptionist in fast-paced medical practice

Ability to multitask – prioritising patient care

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

High level of attention to detail and organisational ability

Time management skills and ability to prioritise workload

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
