The Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence is a dedicated unit established to lead the whole-of government engagement with, and response to, the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. This involves coordinating functions that include sector engagement and supporting lived-experience participation.
The Principal Policy Officer is a role within Office for Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence and is accountable to the Director, Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence for:
leading the Department's preparation for and response to the Royal Commission into the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence to ensure all legal, policy and governance obligations are met
delivering high-quality strategic policy design, implementation and evaluation
monitoring the progress of the Royal Commission and emerging issues, identifying implications and providing high-level advice.
