Looking for a role that enables you to provide high-level strategic leadership in the development and implementation of projects?
The Quality and Safeguarding Directorate is currently seeking a Lead Project Officer to join their team on a full-time term basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing the development and implementation of projects to achieve quality outcomes using endorsed project management standards.
Providing an effective consultation service and engage with a broad range of stakeholders to meet their business needs.
Conducting high-level research to support the provision of advice to the continuous improvement of policies, programs and projects.
Participating in the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure quality outcomes are achieved for clients of the department.
Delivering clear, detailed and timely reports, memos, letters and briefings whilst monitoring appropriate follow-up actions for management.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in developing, leading and implementing successful programs of work and/or projects.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
Proficiency in delivering strategic and operational outcomes in a sensitive and complex environment.
Proven experience in providing concise and comprehensive written and verbal briefings.
Expertise in demonstrating judgment in the prioritisation of work activities in an environment of competing priorities.
