Our client is a vertically integrated mining and civil contractor delivering high-performance project outcomes across WA’s iron ore sector. As operations scale, thy are seeking a capable and professional HSE Advisor to support on-site safety performance through coaching, auditing, and compliance leadership.

About the Role:

This is a site-based HSE role operating FIFO from Perth and working back-to-back with another HSE Advisor. You’ll report directly to the Group HSE Manager and provide practical, field-driven safety support to operational crews.

Key responsibilities include:

Field-based safety coaching with production and maintenance teams

Conducting internal audits and workplace inspections

Leading incident investigations and coordinating reporting

Supporting site compliance with WA WHS legislation and systems

Maintaining and submitting site safety documentation

Promoting safe behaviours and hazard identification across all crews

Providing HSE input into operational meetings as required

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety – Essential

Current First Aid and CPR Certification – Required

2–4 years’ experience in a site-based FIFO HSE Advisor role (mining sector preferred)

Strong knowledge of WA WHS Act & Regulations

Experience with incident response, risk assessments, and audit processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Confident in engaging with supervisors, operators, and site leaders

Perth-based and available for FIFO mobilisation
