About the role

Donnelly Automotive Gold Coast are seeking a skilled Automotive Workshop Mechanic to join their team in Southport, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop and providing excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles across a range of makes and models

Carry out routine maintenance and servicing tasks to the highest standard

Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve complex issues

Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating repair requirements

Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken

Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the workshop

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification

2-3 years' experience as a qualified mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to use a range of specialist tools and equipment

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A keen interest in the automotive industry and a passion for providing outstanding customer service

Current Australian driver's licence required (manual transmission)

Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia
