About the Role

As an Area Sales Manager, your focus is clear: grow business in your area and provide hands-on support to both specialist trade dealers (think Sydney Tools, Total Tools) and end users (think Woodworking & Joinery, Timber Construction & Carpentry, Painting & Renovation, Cabinet Making & Interior Fit-Out, Building & Construction, Concrete).

You'll be the face of a premium power tool brand, responsible for:

Owning and expanding your territory

Exceeding revenue targets with a structured customer call plan

Conducting on-site product demonstrations to create demand and showcase their premium ranges

Training distributor staff and end-users in the above mentioned trade sectors Woodworking & Joinery, Timber Construction & Carpentry, Painting & Renovation, Cabinet Making & Interior Fit-Out, Building & Construction, Concrete

About You

Driven, organised and efficient, you know how to make an impact. You're more than a sales rep; you're a solutions expert who understands how to meet trade customer needs with integrity.

Key Qualifications:

3+ years in trade, industrial, or technical product sales

Hands-on experience with power tools, from work or personal projects (trade quals or avid DIY enthusiasts)

Proven success in direct selling and territory management

Skilled in effective product demonstrations and training

Strong communicator who builds lasting rapport with trade professionals

Familiar with CRM systems (salesforce preferably), Microsoft Suite (in particular Excel) and adept at organising your day
