Our client are an exciting market leader who as a result of growth are now looking to bring in a Distribution Supervisor to join their team. This key, business-critical role is based in Brisbane and reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing warehouse activities and leading a team focused on operational excellence. This is a full-time, permanent position in a fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact and join a business on the cusp of large growth

The Role
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead daily distribution operations including receipting, picking, packing, dispatching, and stock handling, ensuring high standards and timely execution.
• Oversee inventory levels in line with S&OP planning while collaborating with Supply Chain to optimise storage and capacity.
• Drive a continuous improvement mindset through SOP development, KPI reporting, and exception management to enhance performance and accountability.
• Maintain strong DIFOT outcomes while balancing cost-efficiency and service excellence across the distribution centre.
• Coach and mentor team members, manage performance fairly, and promote a positive, collaborative, and safe working culture.
• Champion health and safety initiatives, proactively managing equipment, racking, and machinery to reduce downtime and maintain compliance.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to manage dispatch, logistics issues, and continuous operational improvements.

Your Background

• 3+ years of experience within a similar FMCG environment.
• Experience utilising WMS systems and MS Office products.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
