About the role

Join the team at Uncle Bobs Bakery as a full-time Senior Bakery Retail Assistant and Barista. Based in Belmont Queensland, this exciting role combines customer service, cashiering and barista duties to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for our customers. We have a full-time position available but will also consider two part-time candidates.

What you'll be doing

Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including order taking, cash handling and transaction processing

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including espresso coffee, to the highest standards

Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising and general store presentation

Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures to ensure a clean, organised and compliant store environment

Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting and collaborating with your colleagues

What we're looking for

Proven customer service experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment

Barista experience and the ability to prepare high-quality coffee drinks

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful manner

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to cover shifts in our two locations: Belmont and Thornlands

Food handling and/or barista certification highly regarded

Access to private transport as there is limited public transport at both locations
