Qualified Fabricators and TA Welders

Flexi Staff is seeking experienced labourers to fill multiple positions that are currently available across the metal and steel manufacturing sectors locally in Perth.

The Role:

As a Trade Assistant Welder, you will be assisting in metalwork tasks whilst professionally engaging with clients on a regular basis to provide a rewarding and satisfactory experience.

As a Qualified Fabricator you will be known for having experience and knowledge on an extensive range of machinery and equipment and be responsible for creating and assembling metal components used in roofing systems.

Positions Involve:

• Assisting with basic welding; TIG & MIG and fabrication on mechanical/metalwork tasks
• Flexibility to handle varied tasks and meet production deadlines
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Maintaining a high standard of work and attention to detail
• Machine operating complex machinery
• Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, cutting and shaping metal, and joining pieces using various techniques like welding, bolting, or riveting.

Criteria:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role with a track record of delivering high quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, specifications and assembly instructions.
• Basic 12v Wiring, able to identify 12v wiring colours
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
• Highrisk: Forklift Licence (Required)
• C Class Licence minimum (Required)
• White Card
• Trade certificate: 2nd class Boiler Maker/ Fabricator
• Physically fit and have ability to lift 20Kgs
• National Police Clearance & ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol.
