Essential Skills and Experience

• Trade Certificate in Fabrication/Boilermaking (required)
• Experience welding structural steel – T-bars, beams, columns
• Confident reading site drawings
• Skilled in Stick and Gasless MIG welding
• Physically fit – this is a site-based role (up and down ladders, fitting steel on active sites)
• Able to work independently without needing to be hand-held
• Good attitude, good work ethic, and able to take a joke

Desirable Extras

• Forklift licence
• EWP / Working at Heights
• Dogging/Rigging tickets
• Coded welding (preferred, not essential)
• National Police Clearance (not required but handy for some sites)

Your Role

• Site-based structural welding across Perth metro
• Mark out and install columns, beams, and structural frames
• Read and work from GA/site drawings independently
• Use your own basic hand tools – nothing specialised needed
• Work solo or alongside a mate depending on job scope
