After 24 months of extensive renovations, The Fed Hotel is set to open its doors in the vibrant beachside suburb of Semaphore and we’re on the hunt for an experienced, hands-on Venue Manager to take the reins.
This is a rare opportunity to launch a completely refurbished venue, build a new team, and shape the future of one of South Australia’s most anticipated hospitality reopening's.

The Fed Hotel has been transformed into a sophisticated, multi-faceted destination, boasting:

Located just minutes from the beach and in the heart of Semaphore’s bustling strip, The Fed will attract both locals and tourists looking for high quality food, drinks, and entertainment.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hospitality leader who thrives in high energy environments and is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you’ll have full responsibility for the day to day operations of the venue, including:
· Recruiting and developing a brand new team across all departments
· Overseeing bar, dining, gaming, accommodation, and bottleshop operations
· Driving service standards and establishing operational excellence from day one
· Managing rosters, costs, GP%, wage control and supplier relationships
· Ensuring compliance with all liquor licensing, WHS, HR, and company policies
This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership capability, a commitment to quality, and the energy to take a venue from zero to standout.
What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience managing a large, multi-department hospitality venue
· Strong understanding of gaming compliance
· Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with a focus on training and culture building
· Exceptional financial and operational controls
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· A can do, hands on attitude with the flexibility to adapt as the venue evolves
· A passion for creating a modern, welcoming pub experience that raises the bar
