- Working 5 days per week: 8:20am - 4pm - work during school terms.
- Fixed Term contract till December 2025
About the Opportunity
Seeking a flexible and experienced Educator who has supported children with additional needs. This role is dependent on funding and is currently a part time contract.
Uniting Preschool Turramurra is a not-for-profit, community-based facility providing education and care for 3-5 year old’s in Turramurra. Our service is approved for 36 children and is deeply committed to inclusivity and equal access for all. Our warm and welcoming service offers stimulating indoor and natural outdoor environments.
What you’ll be doing in this role
As a Certificate III Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!
Your work may include:
- Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
Who we’re looking for
- Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous inclusion support experience (preferred)
- Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
- A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
