Alice Village is welcoming applications for an Guest Services Supervisor to provide the Manager with support in leading the team and the day-to-day operations at the Village. The Alice Village team is only newly established, but is already building themselves a reputation for being a team that is heavily focused on ensuring an amazing customer experience for all our visitors.

Alice Village offers visitors clean and comfortable accommodation in a secure and quiet setting 5 km from town, with views of the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges. Alice Village offers a variety of accommodation options for both short term, and long term stays, from studio apartments through to 4 bedroom houses, an onsite gym, swimming pool and BBQ area.

Whilst this role is a blend of Reception and Housekeeping, there is a strong focus on Housekeeping, with key areas of focus being:

On job training of the Housekeeping Team

Establishing, and monitoring of, quality assurance standards for the Housekeeping team

Monitor levels , and arrange ordering of, room and cleaning stock/supplies as required

Set the housekeeping team up of a morning with their room allocation boards/priorities for the day and conduct check ins with them throughout the day

Provide hands on support to the Housekeeping team as required

Additionally, in partnership with the Village Manager, this role will regularly oversee the Village reception and:

Check in and Check out Guests

Respond to customer queries - via phone, email, or face to face

Use your initiative and experience to identify and implement opportunities for team efficiency and customer satisfaction in partnership with the Village Manager

Be on call 2-3 days per week outside of Reception hours (including overnight)

This role would potentially suit someone who has extensive Housekeeping experience and is now looking to transition into a general property management role. You will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a housekeeping leadership role, and be known for your communication skills, your high quality of work, and your ability to ensure a cohesive and fun work environment for your team. Previous Property Management experience is required, RMS preferred, but not essential. You also need to be comfortable using various Microsoft Office platforms such as Outlook, word and Excel. You will hold a current Australian Drivers Licence (Manual) and will have a current First aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).

Onsite accommodation can be provided and candidates must be able to regularly work weekends.
