About the role

Venetia Major - Bespoke Jewellery is looking for a part-time Jewellery Retail Manager to join our team in Hall, ACT 2618. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our boutique jewellery store, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining a visually appealing and well-organised retail space to showcase our bespoke jewellery collections.

Handling customer enquiries, orders and payments in a professional and friendly manner.

Managing quotes, deposits, special orders, repair jobs ensuring jobs stay on track.

Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed to ensure product availability.

Writing rosters and managing staff time-off requests etc.

Collaborating with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the business.

You'll be supported by qualified jewellers and designers to assist with technical aspects. Jewellery specific training will be provided.

What we're looking for

Approximately 25-30 hours/week

Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably within the jewellery or fashion industry

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional shopping experiences

Strong sales and merchandising skills, with the ability to create visually appealing product displays

Proficient in inventory management and data analysis to drive informed business decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

A creative mindset and an eye for design to understand and appreciate our bespoke jewellery collections

Flexibility to work a mix of daytime and weekend shifts as required
