Ashgrove Tree Services is looking for an experienced Tree Works Estimator to join our close-knit team. Based on Brisbane’s northside, we’re a family-owned company known for our high-quality work, supportive culture, and strong client relationships.

This role is primarily estimating, with a practical arborist component, ideally split two-thirds quoting and one-third climbing. For the right candidate, we’re happy to discuss what that balance looks like.

What You'll Do

Attend site visits to assess tree health, safety, and job scope

Prepare accurate, competitive quotes using quoting and job management software (training provided)

Liaise directly with clients, providing expert advice and building long-term relationships

Follow up on quotes and maintain clear client communication

Work closely with the operations and admin team to coordinate job scheduling

Ensure estimates account for labour, equipment, permits, and profitability

Carry out tree work including climbing, pruning, and removals

Share knowledge and help guide junior crew when needed

What You’ll Bring

Strong background in arboriculture, either estimating, climbing, or both

AQF Level 3 (minimum); Level 5 highly regarded

Manual driver's license required; MR license preferred

Professional, confident communicator

Comfortable working both independently and in a team

Experience with quoting or willingness to learn the systems we use
