Trades Assistant – Oxy Cutting, Forklift & Pressure Cleaning

Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 4:00pm

$38 per hour + potential increase based on performance

We’re currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Trades Assistant to join a mechanical team based in Clayton South.

This is a hands-on role supporting essential maintenance work, perfect for someone who’s not afraid to get dirty and thrives in a physical, team-based environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Pressure cleaning roller cutters

Operating a forklift (if licensed)

Oxy cutting and grinding

Using a knotted wire wheel on a grinder

Draining and refilling oil and grease

Assisting fitters and technicians on-site as required

What We’re Looking For

White Card – mandatory

Forklift licence – desired

Prior experience in a TA or labouring role

Confidence working with tools, machinery & chemicals

Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability

The Offer

Location: Clayton South VIC

Hours: 6:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $38/hr (base rate) + potential to increase based on performance and work ethic
