Well-established, successful company in the IT distribution industry. Since 1992 we are dealing with Datacentre IT hardware equipment, including servers, storage and networking equipment. We focus on optimizing our customer’s profitability, and their availability of new and used hardware at world best pricing. Furthermore, we are known for a high level of customer service and as problem solver in every aspect of the business.
Your daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to
Demonstrates an applied understanding of standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment
Proactively shares relevant information to enable efficient workflow and mitigate the impact that changes to their area of work will have on others.
Complies with business unit and service-level policies, procedures, and deadlines.
Completes assigned tickets efficiently and in alignment with expectations for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) per task type while meeting or exceeding established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with minimal guidance from other technicians.
Decommissions hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) following standard procedures with minimal guidance.
Documenting support cases and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.
To be considered for this role the following requirements are preferred:
We expect that you:
• High school diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components AND 3+ year(s) experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• have demonstrated ability to build branded IT equipment
• have existing business and professional relationships
• are structured and analytical with regards to planning, goal setting and evaluation of development
• are comfortable on phone for cold calling and technical support
• have excellent listening and communication skills – at all levels of an organization
• are self-motivated and have a winning mentality
• are a strong and fair team player
• have a well-developed multi-cultural understanding
• are fluent in English, spoken as well as written (any additional language is a plus)
