Recent growth within the organisation has created an opportunity for a hard-working and reliable Electrician to join the team based at our Fountaindale location.

This position reports to the Production Manager and is an integral part of the Janus team. You will work collaboratively with the Production team and be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems in the Janus Electric Side Battery and Janus Charge & Change Station.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and improve electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.

Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.

Perform all work in a manner that complies with electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.

Test electrical systems and components to confirm they are working properly.

Complete required documentation of repairs and service details.

Ensure sufficient inventory of necessary supplies and parts.

Calibrate equipment to specified standards.

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.

Troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs promptly.

Skills and Experience

Completion of Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) as part of an apprenticeship is required.

5 years of electrical experience

Excellent communicator

Working knowledge of electrical theory and the associated principles, materials, and equipment

Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

Valid driver's license

Willing to work overtime when required.
