About the Opportunity

Join our team as a Senior Development Compliance Officer and make a meaningful impact in ensuring our City grows safely and responsibly. In this leadership role, you’ll provide expert advice on planning and building compliance, mentor a dedicated team, and oversee the resolution of complex development matters. You’ll conduct site inspections, manage investigations, and ensure adherence to relevant legislation and codes. With a focus on continuous improvement, customer service, and team development, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, collaboration, and contributing to a positive community outcome. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential

Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence

White Card

Tertiary qualifications in either planning, building or compliance related discipline and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role

Demonstrated considerable experience within a field of development compliance and enforcement

Experience in supervising and developing a team
