We're Hiring: Pharmacist in Charge – New Store Opportunity

Location: Doveton, Melbourne Victoria.

Salary: $90,000 – $110,500 + Super (based on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30 – 42.5hrs per week

Start: August 2025

Prime Pharmacy Group is excited to welcome a newly acquired store into our growing network and we’re looking for a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead the way!

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fresh chapter for the store, shaping culture and standards from day one, with full support from our team at support office.

This store will go through a transformation which will include changing site location and banner to become a Chemist Discount Centre to offer more services and savings to the local community.

The Role

As PIC, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, ethical, and efficient delivery of healthcare services while building strong relationships with the local community and team.

Currently this is a Sole pharmacist position, due to this pharmacy being a quieter store with low script volume at the moment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the small pharmacy team in delivering excellent customer service and clinical care

Oversee dispensary workflow, including dispensing, counselling, and medication safety

Ensure compliance with all legislative and professional requirements

Drive professional services and community engagement

Support store growth and operational excellence in line with the group’s values

About You:

AHPRA-registered pharmacist with full, unrestricted registration

Confident, proactive, and ready to step into a leadership role

Strong communication and organizational skills

Passionate about community pharmacy and delivering patient-centered care

Previous experience as PIC or in a senior role (preferred but not essential)
