Electrical Engineers - Perth CBD

Weekly pay - Immediate start - Full Time

$75.00 per hour flat rate, plus Superannuation on all hours

The Details:

We are looking for skilled Electrical Engineers to join a Western Australian-based engineering design, consulting, and project resources company specialising in power system integration. They provide complete turn-key solutions for clients in the energy, resources and utilities sectors, from engineering design, and commissioning works, to site services and technical support.

They are committed to developing and maintaining a highly skilled and dedicated team of electrical engineers, project managers and technicians. Their objective is to be recognised as a premium electrical engineering system integration and design business. The team is dynamic and enthusiastic, who demonstrate their strengths and ensure complete client satisfaction.

Immediate start and ongoing work, 40 hours a week. This position will start under Labour Hire during an initial probationary period, with permanent PAYG placement with the host company for the right candidates.

The Essentials:

Switchroom kiosk substation GA in 2D.

Service GA (ie. trenches, pit, plinth).

Switchboard SLD and Schematic drawings.

Protection Relay Configuration Programming.

VSD and control panel wiring schematic.

Earthing design.

Power System Study:

Maximum demand calculation and load flow study.

Cable sizing and schedule development.

Short circuit analysis and Arc Flash Study.

Protection coordination and motor starting study.

Harmonic study and dynamic modelling using software listed below.

Site Experience:

Transformer and insulation Resistance testing.

Polarisation Index (PI) Test and dielectric Loss Angle Test (DLA).

Turn Ratio and winding resistance testing.

Oil sampling and RMU testing.

Protection relay secondary and primary injection testing.

Contact Resistance testing (Ductor Test) of main contacts and earth switches.

Insulation Resistance and hipot testing.

LV Board and insulation resistance test.

Contact resistance test on main switchboard including ACB.

Trip unit set up and soil resistivity testing.

Step and Touch potential testing.

Experience with below testing Equipment:

Megger MIT1020 or equivalent.

CPC100 + CP TD1 or TD12.

CMC 356.

50kV Hipot.

10A Ductor.

Software Skills:

DigSILENT PowerFactory.

ETAP.

ABB PCM600.

Siemens DIGSI 5.

Schneider EASERGY Studio EASERGY PRO.
