Full-time, Fixed-term 7 month contract role commencing in September, 5 days per week, 09:30am–5:30pm, based in Hahndorf with some travel to regional South Australia. Potential for the role to become permanent at the conclusion of the contract.
ARO College holds a funded activities agreement with Skills SA to provide subsidised VET pathways for 16 qualifications from the Agricultural, Horticulture, Conservation and Land Management (AHC) Training Package, from Certificate III through to Diploma. ARO College specialises in delivering 1:1 workplace-based traineeships and apprenticeships to all corners of South Australia.
ARO College is seeking a Training Administrator to assist the Chief Operating Officer and the Study Coach team while the Training Coordinator is on Maternity Leave. We are looking for a planning and scheduling dynamo who can take over a large part of the Training Coordinator’s roles. Our ideal person has experience working in the outdoor spaces industries and the vocational training or education sectors.
The Training Administrator’s primary role is to implement the planning, scheduling and delivery of quality training and assessment services to students and their employers. This involves calendar scheduling and allocation of all Trainers/Assessors and Study Coach’s to deliver work-based training and assessment services inclusive of resource allocation and maintenance, ensuring the training and equipment resources required are available and current.
Main Duties
The Training Administrator has the following duties:
Implement the planning and coordination of training and assessment operations, inclusive of online, classroom and workplace Workshops, to ensure the required resources, including both trainers and equipment are available to support delivery.
Ensure the completeness of all assessment results submitted by Trainer/Assessors and follow up with them if amendments are required.
Enter vetted academic results into the Student Management System (SMS), aXcelerate.
Maintain records and data in government portals
Prepare monthly AVETMISS and funded activity data.
Invoice and charge clients as required.
Conduct course registration and enrolment sessions on-site at the student’s workplace.
Process student enrolment applications.
Maintain VET compliant student data and files.
Conduct periodic audits on student assessment records to ensure their accuracy and integrity.
Answering and triaging telephone and email enquiries from members of staff, and the general public.
Organise travel for ARO College staff as required.
