You will be part of a dynamic team of around 40 dedicated individuals, each playing a crucial role in our comprehensive approach to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Together, we support our six highly skilled surgeons who treat a wide range of conditions, defects, injuries and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, jaws, teeth, and face.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Registered Nurse at Oromax, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exemplary recovery care to our patients. Your expertise will support our highly skilled Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, dental assistants, and administrative team in delivering the highest standard of care.

The recovery nursing responsibilities include:

Delivering evidence-based nursing care with compassion and precision

Collaborating closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and dental assistants

Clearly explaining pre and post operative procedures to patients and their carers

Monitoring and evaluating patient recovery to ensure optimal outcomes

Identifying and addressing potential complications

Ensuring the safety for both patients and staff

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an AHPRA Registered Nurse, with experience in recovery and ideally day surgery.

You will also have:

Proven expertise in delivering high-quality nursing care

Exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to safe work practices

Professional knowledge of infection control and its practical application in care delivery

Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication.

Strong collaborative abilities and the capacity to work independently

Exceptional attention to detail

A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police check
