About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join the dynamic team at the Private Endoscopy Centre in Somerton Park, South Australia. This part-time role will see you providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the preparation and set-up of endoscopic procedure rooms

Providing direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures

Monitoring patients' vital signs and general wellbeing throughout procedures

Administering medication as required under the direction of medical staff

Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records

Adhering to all relevant healthcare policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Supporting the efficient and smooth running of the endoscopy centre

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting

Demonstrated knowledge of endoscopic procedures and post-operative nursing care

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the healthcare team

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to nursing
