We’re looking for an experienced perioperative Clinical Nurse with a strong perioperative experience within orthopaedics and/or plastic surgery to join a dynamic and patient-focused surgical team.

This role can either be on a full-time basis or 0.8 - 0.9 FTE can also be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

• Clinical Assessments, evaluations and monitoring of patient care
• Care plan development and implementation in collaboration with the team maintaining ongoing communication with the nursing & medical team about the outcome of care.
• Provide support and expert knowledge in situations requiring advanced clinical skills
• Supervise & mentor staff and support in skill development including acting as preceptor for new staff as required.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and accreditation compliance

What You’ll Bring

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Solid experience in perioperative circulating/instrument nursing, preferably orthopaedics and/or plastic surgery.
• Advanced clinical judgement and adaptability
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Confidence in using Microsoft Office and patient management systems
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
