We’re looking for someone who can keep work on track, make sure every job meets our standards (and then some), and enjoy good company while doing it. While the name says “stainless,” we get stuck into stainless, aluminium, and mild steel—serving agriculture, the food & beverage industries, and all sorts of general engineering jobs in between. There’s always a new project on the go, so you’ll never get bored.

You’ll Succeed Here If…

You’ve got experience leading projects or teams in metal fabrication, mechanical, workshop, or construction environments.

You can read and interpret drawings, scopes, and plans—and communicate them without the jargon.

You like working closely with the workshop crew (and clients), sorting out issues before they become headaches.

Organizing people, materials, and timelines comes naturally to you.

You don’t lose your cool when things get busy or plans change—you adapt and find solutions.

You keep the quality high and the standards even higher.

You’re computer-friendly but can also hand-write a to-do list if the Wi-Fi’s out.

Trade qualification in fabrication/welding/engineering is a plus, but solid experience leads the way.

Desirable Criteria:

Hands-on background working with stainless, aluminium, and mild steel.

Experience in the agricultural, food & beverage, or general engineering sectors.

Comfortable using project management tools, scheduling apps, MS Office, or job tracking software.

Proven record of safe work practices and risk management on site or in the workshop.

Some quoting/estimating know-how wouldn’t go astray.

Strong communicator—just as happy talking to tradies as to clients.

Can identify a potential quality issue and help sort it out (without making anyone feel silly).

Basic 2D CAD essential, 3D experience even better!

Plan, schedule, and track a wide mix of projects—from start to finish.

Make sure drawings, materials, and crew are ready to roll each day.

Jump in to help troubleshoot, problem-solve, and keep things running smoothly.

Keep clients in the loop—good news and the odd curveball.

Help check quality, safety, and final handover.

Pitch in wherever needed—because “that’s not my job” isn’t part of our culture.
