About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Battery & Solar accredited Electrician to join our team at Hinterland and Coast Electrical on a contract basis. As a Battery & Solar accredited Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar and battery storage systems for our residential and commercial clients in the South East Queensland region. What you'll be doing

Install, commission, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including panels, inverters, and associated electrical components

Install, commission, and maintain battery storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety

Conduct electrical inspections, testing, and diagnostics to identify and resolve any issues with solar and battery systems

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on the design, installation, and operation of their solar and battery storage systems

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines

Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Hold a current Queensland Electrician's Licence and be Battery & Solar accredited

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Electrician, with a strong focus on solar and battery storage systems

Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide clear, concise advice to clients

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all relevant safety protocols
