About the role

This is a full-time Production Machine Operator Supervisor role based in Yatala, QLD. As the Production Machine Operator Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production machines and ensuring the efficient and effective manufacturing of Our Town Fencing's products.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the work of production machine operators to ensure productivity targets are met

Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise

Provide training and support to machine operators to improve their skills and efficiency

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and quality standards

Liaise with the production manager to help solve issues

Operate a machine to ensure the high volume targets are met

Maintain accurate records and reporting on production activities

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a production machine operator or supervisor role within the manufacturing industry

Strong technical understanding of production machinery and processes

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to lead and motivate a team of machine operators

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant qualifications or certifications in manufacturing or operations management
