We have a great opportunity for 2 x experienced Maintenance Plumbers to join our strong technical team.

Based in Banksmeadow, Howard Plumbing is one of the longest-standing maintenance plumbing companies in the Eastern Suburbs. We’ve been getting the job done right for over 40 years — now we’re looking for two experienced maintenance plumbers to join our strong and supportive team.

We're also part of Hot Water Pro Pty Ltd, which includes Hot Water Sydney — so if you're keen to diversify and upskill, there’s room to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing:

General maintenance plumbing across commercial and residential sites

Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues to identify the root cause and implement appropriate solutions

Leak detection and pipe locating.

Sewer & stormwater maintenance

Install and maintain water heaters, taps, toilets, sinks and other plumbing fixtures

Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with regulations.

Working independently and collaborating with a close-knit team

Engaging with clients onsite

Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients

Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations

Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service

Requirements

3-5 years experience minimum in a Maintenance Plumbing role (commercial & residential)

Fully licensed plumber or Trade Certificate in Plumbing (NSW)

A genuine, down-to-earth attitude — we’re looking for good people

A strong desire to grow your skills

Current valid driver's licence

Full working rights within Australia

White card

Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, codes and regulations

Understand piping, drainage, water supply, gas lines, and hot water systems.

Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team

Own hand tools

Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Backflow Prevention experience

Confined Space Certificate

EWP and High Risk Licence

Working at Heights Certificate
